Boulevard Under Construction
Scheveningen is working on a safe new boulevard. The total project area is two kilometres long: between SEA LIFE Scheveningen and Harbour. This area is divided into four sections each measuring 500 metres. During the course of the project, the work will move on to the next section, thus minimising any inconvenience. The project is due for completion in spring 2013. Scheveningen will still be worth visiting even while the work on the boulevard is continuing. You can access the beach and the pavilions via the temporary boulevard. The observation points provide a wonderful view over this fantastic project. Interested in the final result? In the coming years, Scheveningen will be undergoing a complete metamorphosis. In the information centre, you can learn all about the coastal reinforcement and the new boulevard, as well as the developments in Scheveningen Bad, Haven and Village.The information centre is open from Monday to Friday, between 11.00 and 17.00 hours and on Saturday and Sunday between 10.00 and 17.00 hours.
