Since June 2009, the Scheveningen Marketing Association, which has the full backing of local commerce and industry, has been putting a great deal of energy into successfully bringing the delights of Scheveningen under the spotlight.
In the coming years, Scheveningen’s boulevard will be up for refurbishment. This is an enormous and ambitious project which will run until 2013. Afterall, the climate is changing and sea levels are rising and Scheveningen wants to strengthen its defences. More sand, a sturdy dike and a brand new boulevard will make Scheveningen both beautiful and safe!
